- Review and revise your Career Matchmaker results
- Take the Career Selector (searching for careers based on a variety of criteria).
- Take the Ability Profiler (learn how your abilities compare to those used in careers that interest you)
- Review and revise My Skills Assessment
- Research colleges, technical schools and military options
- Update your Personal Learning Plan
- Update your Portfolio and include information on:
- Job shadowing/internships
- Extracurricular activities
- Work and volunteer time
- Awards and interests
- Colleges or technical schools of interest
- National Tests (ACT/SAT, PSAT, PLAN, ETC)
• Visit college or technical institute campuses
• Research postsecondary program requirements
• Participate in opportunities to build your resume
• Register for senior year classes; consider taking a virtual course, Advanced Placement course, dual credit course, internship, and completing a “senior experience”
• Look for summer work or volunteer to gain hands-on career experience in an area of interest
